Sensory Overload and how to cope.

This is like one of the few tumblr slides that have actually been useful for me.
and now i’m suddenly realizing that i get sensory overload far, far more frequently than I actually realized
Wow so that’s what that feeling is
I have mild to moderate PTSD, and I’ve tried for so long to explain what it is exactly that I’m feeling. I usually just call them panic attacks, because that was as close to to an explanation as I could come.
Thank you so so much. Saving this to show to people — now maybe they’ll understand when I say that I just can’t handle physical contact and too much noise.
